Ongoing Advisory Support
Running an agency means making decisions constantly. Some are big and obvious. Most are smaller, messier, and harder to evaluate in the moment.
Should you pursue this opportunity or pass?
Is this client relationship fixable—or not worth the effort?
Is this a people issue, a process issue, or a leadership issue?
Are you reacting to short-term pressure or making a decision that aligns with what you actually want from the business?
SAGA’s Ongoing Advisory Support exists for owners who want a trusted, on-call thinking partner as they run their agencies.
What this service actually is
Ongoing Advisory Support is a monthly consulting relationship where I serve as a sounding board, advisor, and troubleshooter as issues arise in your business.
I don’t manage your team. I don’t execute work for you. I don’t arrive with a preset agenda. Instead, I help you think through real decisions in real time—drawing on experience and an understanding of how agency businesses actually operate.
It gives you access to judgment, perspective, and context when you need it because I have faced similar challenges and opportunities.
How it typically works
We set up a regular recurring call schedule that suits you, with email in between as questions, situations, or decisions come up. Conversations are driven by what’s actually happening in your business—not a curriculum or predefined plan.
This might include:
- Reviewing proposals, pricing, or scope before they go out the door
- Talking through client or team challenges before they escalate
- Evaluating new ideas, opportunities, or changes in direction
- Helping you decide what to prioritize—and what to ignore
Whenever something comes up that would benefit from perspective, I’m just a quick email or call away.
Who this is for
Ongoing Advisory Support is a good fit for agency owners who want experienced independent perspective as they run their businesses.
You don’t want someone to run the business for you. You want a partner who helps you think more clearly as you run it yourself.
It works best after you complete an Agency Business Checkup because that gives us a solid foundation for our ongoing conversations. We can jump straight into an ongoing relationship, but the first few months will be less efficient as we spend time building context.
Who it’s not for
This isn’t a fit for owners looking to outsource decisions, execution, or management. It’s also not designed for agencies that need intensive, hands-on intervention or day-to-day accountability.
If you’re still very early, still experimenting with basic service delivery, or primarily looking for tactical instruction, this level of advisory support is likely premature.
Cost and structure
Ongoing Advisory Support is $2,500 per month.
The relationship is month-to-month, with no long-term contract. It’s designed to be flexible and to continue only as long as it’s genuinely useful.
What happens next
If you’re considering Ongoing Advisory Support, the next step is a conversation focused on fit and usefulness.
We’ll talk about your business, the kinds of decisions you’re dealing with, and how you like to work. You’ll get a sense of how I approach agency challenges, and we’ll decide together whether this is the right next step.
If it makes sense, we’ll talk about timing. If it doesn’t, I’ll tell you directly and suggest other options that may serve you better.
